Introduction

Enjoy the Game of a Lifetime Offered Only at The Golf Academy at Westwood Plateau

In an area known for its exclusive golfing facilities, Westwood Plateau offers a 9-hole executive daily fee course with a reputation for playability and hospitality. Designed by Michael Hurdzan, Westwood Plateau is a comfortable, easily walked course that is abundant with wildlife.

Sculpted in the shadow of Eagle Mountain, Westwood Plateau is quickly becoming the finest 9-hole executive golf course in the Vancouver area. An excellent course to exercise your irons, this par 31 has 5 par 3’s and 4 par 4’s. There are also three sets of tee’s to challenge every level of player.

Your day will begin on 143-yard (from the back tee) par 3 that is a straight shot to the flagstick. A small river flows in front of the green and a large bunker surrounds the backside. A great hole to start off your excellent round of golf.

Hole number two is a slight dogleg left that is 249 yards from the back tee. A long narrow fairway and numerous bunkers lead the way to a large slightly tiered green.

Hole number three is a 115-yard shot from the back tee. The shortest hole on the course, this par 3 offers a large green that is encircled by bunkers. A solid iron selection along with a brilliant shot and you will be shaving the strokes off of your card.

Number five is the longest hole on the course. A long par 4 that is 310 yards from the back tee and a slight dogleg right. Aim for the bunker along the middle of the fairway and this will leave you with an unbeatable approach to the green.

Hole number seven consists of a green that is surrounded by bunkers. 186 yards back, an accurate shot is required or you will be hunting for you sand wedge on your second shot.

Finishing up your great round of golf, number nine is a long par 3. A straight shot to the green that is guarded by a large bunker. You once again have to cross the river that flows thru the course to arrive on the large final green.
