The footing of the kitchen can be found with the dish crew. Dishwashing is the basic stepping stones to the success of our culinary team. Everyone in the kitchen has been elbow high in soapy suds at one point in time so we know just how necessary a strong will and dedication to this role is. Every day our turf team is honored to maintain pristine conditions that co-exist with the rugged mountain side of Westwood Plateau.  As the sun catches the top of the mountain we do what we do best, provide the game of a lifetime.

Picture yourself attending a lavish wedding at Westwood Plateau. You walk into the Panorama Room and are amazed by the soaring cedar beams and awe inspiring view. You drink, you dance and you eat until your heavily loaded plate is empty. Moments later you look down to your plate and notice it’s gone. Confused you glance to your right and see a banquet attendant disappearing with your empty plate and a quick smile. This is the role of a banquet attendant…stealth excellence.

The Wedding Coordinator is the Bride’s day of savior! There to gently guide the couple through their time line, fluff wedding dress trains and calm the big day jitters a wedding coordinator appears when you need them and works diligently behind the scenes when you don’t. Seeing the joyful couple start their happily ever after makes it all worth it!

Everyone’s favorite staff member of the night! Slinging drinks, sharing laughs with guests and team members, a night of bartending never quite feels like work, not when you are the cherry on top of the event.

The Banquet Supervisor is the guiding force behind every event. They thrive on detail oriented efficiency in a fast paced environment. Timing places a huge role in the organized chaos of any event and we love maintaining it through guidance of our well positioned team.

If you love meeting new people then this is the role for you! Golf Attendants are the life force of the day to day golf operations. They develop bonds with members, pull early morning starts with teammates and love the fact that no two days are the same. With over 50 000 rounds per year Golf Attendants live, breath and eat ‘Above’ & Beyond’.

It can be wet, it can be dusty, but who cares when you jump on the tractor and the rest of the world drifts away. If you love wide open spaces and time to think this is the job. We like to refer to early morning range picks as a ‘good workout’ that’s over by noon with the rest of the day to yourself.

Think of the Host as the Game Master of the restaurant. They strategically place reservations and walk-ins to ensure a smooth workflow for the rest of the team. Easily approachable the Host is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the guests entire visit.

Potentially the most fast paced of all the positions at Westwood a server welcomes regulars with their favorite drink and knows just what entrée to suggest to new comers. Servers are flexible, welcoming and know how to rise to a challenge…all while balancing a tray of the latest brewers row drafts.

The ray of sunshine in every golfers day! Whether they just sunk the winning putt or doubled hole 7 for the third time that week the beverage cart is going to be the next stop. A little bit of enthusiasm and easily learned course knowledge goes a long way in this role!

Supervisors have the poise to run the floor while effectively serving up delish meals with ‘Above & beyond’ service. A Supervisor knows that each interaction they make can have a lifetime effect and aim to make it a positive one. Their pears look to them for support and they deliver with leadership by example.

Workforce Development Manager

Westwood is like family, we are one big team together. I look forward to my shift every time because I get to talk to amazing people which I love to do and that makes it the best job ever.

It does not matter if you are washing dishes, clearing tables, prepping food, or bringing food to the banquet hall, we are all treated with the same respect. It is a silent understanding that everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission.

They offer employee discounts on food and items in the pro shop. Employees can borrow high-end rental clubs and use the facilities to improve their golf game. They can also invite guests of their own who also enjoy discounted rates and special deals on balls at the three-story driving range. Free beverages are offered to those on shift. And those are just the written benefits. There are also unwritten benefits that exist to make employees feel seen and valued.

Westwood Plateau is truly an amazing place to work at. I feel very fortunate to be able to work with some of the most kind and caring people, the most friendly guests, in a place with stunning views. The overall atmosphere that Westwood Plateau has made is incredible, from the building design itself, to the course, to the people who work here.
